Introduction

Treating anxiety, stress, depression and relationships with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness online.

My training as a Counselling Psychologist allows me the flexibility to draw on a wide range of psychological theories and practices of therapeutic models and my therapeutic approaches originate and are grounded in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy school of thought and in the Mindfulness-based Approach. These approaches, although poles apart in their practice and delivery, complement one another and my sessions are tailored to each individual needs.

Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/CBT and Mindfulness, I can help and support you by teaching you new skills, working with you to develop a more helpful, healthier attitude towards life difficulties

Today, we are facing unprecedented global challenges, affecting our environment, our society, our economy, our health and well-being and the list goes on. When faced with difficult situations, crisis, transitions at work or in our private lives, we tend to experience stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, anger, jealousy and other naturally occurring negative emotions. This may result in a loss of confidence, self-esteem, motivation and an increase in negative patterns of thinking, behaving and feeling. When these negative thoughts, moods, behaviours and physiological reactions, begin to impact our relationships, our work and quality of life, we owe it to ourselves to go within and learn how to transform and harness these negative internal and external experiences so that we can grow stronger, wiser and empowered to effectively deal with the challenges we find ourselves facing.

My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you can openly discuss and consider problems, goals and aspirations, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I am passionate about helping you to overcome your fears, to break free from limiting beliefs and circumstances and to support you in fulfilling your true potential.
